I really like this but that price makes me wonder if theres $15,000 in the glovebox. Only way it’s worth anywhere near that.

It’s not bad but it’s far from good. Very far.

Are you certain? 35k for a salvage 3 year old FRSZ86BBQ?

“Clean”.

I mean that makes it cp but it’s not untasteful.

Looks pretty but good god thats CP unless it has 25k sitting in the passenger seat.

Investing $25k in parts in a car with a salvage title is untasteful. Buying it just compounds the stupidity.

Didn’t read that far because phone.

Holy shit, someone actually bought this pile?
I’ve seen this car a couple of times as I’m somewhat involved in the PNW FR-S/BRZ scene. This was all done by Toyota of Olympia to a traded in FR-S. They stuck on all the mods and a stupid high sticker price. I always assumed they were using it solely as a PR car (and for that it’s actually not bad at all), but it looks like someone actually bought it off them, Jesus.

He says it was above $45k when he bought it in Olympia...

Yup, that’s what the sticker was. Dear god, what an idiot.

Then he totalled it in 3k miles.

The only reason car is a salvage is because front driver side wide body kit was damaged and the left wheel was damaged.
Okay.

Think this is how you should respond to that

I love people that think mods add value to cars, especially newer cars. I don’t care if it is a GReddy kit or not.

I normally agree with you, but in some instances, I would maybe up my paying price a little if it’s something I would personally want to do anyway. Like if I were shopping 86s and a person had a well documented turbo kit in it that I had a shop double check and I got enough seat time with the car, I’d pay more for it.
So here, I would probably pay a little more for the turbo(not MSRP of the kit but a little more). But the exhaust, body kit and wheels I wouldn’t give an F.
This car is just sad. This person needs to drive it, because they made a mess and they should live with it.
